If you’re already using SparkPost for reliable email delivery, Newsletter Glue lets you bring that infrastructure directly into your WordPress newsletter workflow. No migration needed, no third-party tools to juggle. Just connect via API and start sending from the WordPress editor.
What the SparkPost WordPress integration does
Newsletter Glue connects your WordPress site to SparkPost via API key, turning your block editor into a full newsletter publishing tool. Write your newsletter in WordPress, choose your SparkPost Recipient List, and send. You can also use merge tags you’ve already set up in SparkPost, keeping your existing personalization logic intact.
Getting started
Before connecting, make sure you have a SparkPost account with a verified sending domain. Then it’s just a few steps:
- During Newsletter Glue onboarding, select SparkPost as your email provider, paste your API key, and click Connect.
- Or, if you’re already set up, go to Newsletters > Settings > Connections, select SparkPost from the dropdown, grab your API key, and connect.
Newsletter Glue automatically detects whether your account is on the US or EU SparkPost region.
One thing worth noting: SparkPost manages subscribers through Recipient Lists rather than direct subscriptions, so you’ll want to have your lists uploaded in CSV format before sending.
Why it matters
SparkPost is built for developers who need dependable delivery at scale. Pairing it with Newsletter Glue means your editorial team gets a clean, familiar writing experience in WordPress while your sending infrastructure stays exactly where it is. No platform switching, no copy-paste errors, no rebuilding your templates.
